The Hope Academy Hybrid Tutorial Program offers classes for homeschool families. We offer both core and elective classes for Kindergarten –12th grade as well as a preschool enrichment program. Students enrolled in any of our classes will use the pre-set curriculum that we have chosen for that class. Tutors instruct the students in the classroom on Tuesdays and Fridays each week during the school year while the parents are responsible for teaching the curriculum at home on the other days of the week based on the lesson plans provided by the tutors. Students enrolled in the Kindergarten core program receive instruction for all required core subjects. Students enrolled in the 1st – 6th grade core program will participate in their 3 core classes (English, Science, & History). An optional Math add-on is available for 5th and 6th grade students. Students in 7th – 12th grade may enroll in the core bundle (Math, Science, Social Studies, Writing/Literature), or select core classes a-la-carte. All core classes are instructed at the same time on both Tuesday & Friday. All elective classes are offered in the afternoons on class days and most are only one day per week. Some elective classes may have homework or practice assigned for their days not at class. Elective classes for 1st - 12th grades are a-la-carte. The Kindergarten Elective class includes several electives, see the course offerings for details. In addition to the tutorial classes, enrolled families may also take advantage of our various Student Life Events, Fund Raising Events, and Group Field Trips. We also offer a regular Parent Support Time for the homeschooling parents of our students. It is our goal to offer a program to assist parents as they strive to fulfill their God-given role in training and educating their children.
